slatted-black-up-down-wall-light
Slatted Black Up Down Wall Light

The Slatted Black Up Down Wall Light has a slatted face, so the beam that goes up the wall arrives broken into fine lines instead of a flat wash, while the downward light stays plain and useful. The effect really shows on a textured wall, brick or render, which is exactly where it is worth putting. Lumen & Loam stocks it as the more graphic take on the up and down sconce.

The body is iron in black with an integrated warm white LED, so there is no bulb to replace. It is rated IP65 and runs on 85 to 265V, hardwired with no plug, which means it needs a circuit at the mounting point; installation by a qualified electrician is recommended, especially outdoors. The fitting is not dimmable and carries a two-year warranty.

Choose 7W for a doorway or a narrow wall and 12W where there is more wall to fill, singly or as a set of two. Mount it either side of a garage, along a rendered or brick wall, beside a front door, or on a balcony. A pair spaced evenly reads better than one on its own. Wipe the iron body with a soft dry cloth to keep the finish clean.

Output: 7W or 12W, warm white

Pack: single or set of 2

Body: black iron, slatted face

LED: integrated, no bulb to replace

Power: 85-265V, hardwired, not dimmable

Rating: IP65, 2 year warranty

Safety: installation by a qualified electrician recommended

Electrical safety and certification

Certification status: we do not hold UL, ETL or CSA listing documentation for this fixture, so it should be treated as uncertified equipment.
