These terms apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with Lumen & Loam. By placing an order you agree to them.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order, and will refund you in full if we do. This can happen where an item is unexpectedly unavailable, where a price or description was published in error, or where we suspect fraud.

Pricing and errors

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change without notice. If a genuine pricing or description error appears on the site, we are not obliged to fulfil the order at the incorrect price. We will contact you and offer to cancel and refund.

Product information

We describe our pieces as accurately as we can, including dimensions, materials, ratings and what is and is not included. Colours can look different between screens, and stated dimensions may vary very slightly. Images are illustrative and may show a product in a setting or with props that are not included.

Installation and safety

Several of our fittings are mains-powered and wire directly into household electrics. These have no plug and require an existing circuit at the mounting point. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician. You are responsible for ensuring installation complies with local codes and regulations. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by improper installation or use.

Outdoor ratings are stated per product. A fitting rated moisture resistant is not the same as one rated fully weatherproof, and using a product outside its stated rating is at your own risk.

Your account

If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account.

Intellectual property

The text, images and design on this site belong to Lumen & Loam or are used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse them commercially without asking.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published at the time you order is the version that applies.
