About Us

Lumen & Loam started from a simple idea: the small things in a room do most of the work. Warm light in the evening, a rug underfoot, a mat that earns its place on the table. Those are the pieces you actually notice, and they are usually the ones people leave until last.

What we look for

Every piece is chosen for how it holds up, not only how it photographs. Honest materials. Finishes that age well rather than chip in a season. Shapes that suit a real home rather than a showroom.

We start with outdoor and patio lighting because it is the fastest way to change how a space feels after dark, and because good outdoor light is surprisingly hard to buy well. Rugs, table pieces and small accents follow.

How we work

We are a small operation. We do not hold a warehouse full of stock, which is how we keep prices where they are. Our pieces ship direct from our supply partners, and we are upfront that this takes longer than a same-week delivery: most orders arrive within 10 to 25 business days. We would rather tell you that clearly than bury it at checkout.

What we will not do is describe a product as something it is not. If a fitting is moisture resistant rather than waterproof, the page says so. If a bulb is not included, the page says that too.
