A deep pile bath mat made from chenille cord tufted into rows, so the surface is a field of soft loops rather than a flat weave. Wet feet sink into it and the cord pulls the water off them, which is the whole job of a bath mat and one that thin flat mats do badly.

Where to put it
Beside a bath or shower, in front of a basin, or at a bedside where you want something soft underfoot first thing. The largest size covers the length of a standard bath.
Care
Cool machine wash and hang or lay it flat to dry. Do not tumble dry on heat, which is what mats the pile and hardens the backing. Shake it out when dry and the cord stands back up.
