Where to put it
Beside the sink with the tray angled so water runs back toward the bowl, or inside a cabinet as dry storage once the washing up is done. It works as a permanent home for everyday china, not only as a place things drain.
Care
Lift the tray out and empty it rather than letting it sit full, which is where the smell in most dish racks comes from. Wipe the frame with warm soapy water and let it dry before reloading.
