Motion Sensor Solar Floodlight

A wide 100 LED panel that sits dark until something moves, then lights the area in front of it. This is the practical end of outdoor lighting rather than the decorative end: a side return, a bin store, a back door you arrive at with your hands full.

Because it is solar and sensor driven there is no wiring, no switch to remember, and nothing drawing power while it waits.

Where to put it

Above a back door, on a garage or shed wall, at the top of a set of steps, or anywhere a path turns out of sight. Mount it high enough that the sensor looks across the space rather than down at the ground.

Charging

The panel needs direct sun. A north facing wall in winter will not keep it charged, so pick the sunniest wall you have and angle it toward open sky.
