Absorbent Printed Entrance Mat

The Absorbent Printed Entrance Mat comes in twenty designs, running from formal Persian medallions through marble and geometry to a few that are frankly playful. Whatever the print, it does the same quiet job: an absorbent surface, a non slip back, and a profile thin enough that a door passes over it. It is the broadest single collection in the Lumen & Loam entryway range.

The medallion designs are the traditional ones: Onyx, Navy, Ruby, Teal, Cream, Gilt, Magenta and Sapphire, each a Persian style center on a bordered ground. Marble Arc, Blush Marble and Pebble Stone are the stone effects. Mustard Geometric and Prism Blue are flat angular color. Sketch Feather, Ink Bloom and Shoal are the quiet illustrated ones. Sweet Home Marble, Garden Pots and Cat Parade carry wording, shown in full in the photographs.

Each design comes in 40 x 60cm (16 x 24in), 50 x 80cm (20 x 31in) and 90 x 60cm (35 x 24in). It is an indoor mat, so place it inside a front door, in a hallway, or at a kitchen threshold rather than out in the weather. Shake it out and vacuum; machine wash on a cool cycle and dry flat. Pick the one that matches the floor, or the one that cheerfully does not.
