Bordered Plain Indoor Doormat

The Bordered Plain Indoor Doormat has a raised border pressed into the pile and nothing else on it. No motif, no slogan. The pile is short and dense with an embossed border, absorbent enough to hold what comes off a wet shoe, and a non slip backing keeps it steady on hard floors. It is machine washable. Nine colors cover most rooms: Midnight, Espresso and Slate hide the most between washes and are the sensible pick for a front door; Dove and Sand sit quietly indoors; Brick, Blush, Moss and Cornflower are there when you want the mat to be the bit of color in a plain hallway.

Choose 41 x 61cm (16 x 24in) or 50 x 80cm (20 x 32in). Place it inside a front or back door, at the foot of a stair, or in a bathroom; it is an indoor mat, so keep it under cover. Shake it out and vacuum. Cool machine wash and dry flat, and do not tumble dry, which hardens the backing.
