Choose a single grinder or the salt and pepper pair. Keep it on a worktop near the hob, or on the table with the serving dishes. Wipe the outside with a dry cloth and never rinse it under a tap. Charge it fully before the first use, and store it upright so loose grounds fall back into the chamber rather than into the mechanism.
