Description
The Embossed Half Round Doormat greets a doorway with pattern you can feel underfoot. The design is pressed into a dense felt surface rather than printed over it, so the relief catches low light and throws a soft shadow across the threshold. Set with its straight edge against the door and the curve facing out, it softens the hard line of a frame and makes an entry look finished. It is one of the quieter pieces in the Lumen & Loam entryway range.
Four designs are offered. Charcoal Fan is close to black, with a radiating fan worked into the surface. Bronze Medallion is the ornate one, warm brown around a worked center. Natural Sunburst is pale tan with rays spreading from the straight edge, and Two Tone Fan sets a tan fan against a dark ground. The backing grips rather than slides, and the low profile lets a door swing clear. This is not coir, so no loose fibers shed across the floor.
Three sizes run 40 x 60cm, 50 x 80cm and 60 x 90cm, so there is a fit for a narrow door or a wide one. Place it under a porch or a covered step rather than fully exposed, since felt holds water and takes a long while to dry. Shake it out, vacuum on a low setting, or brush the relief with a soft brush to lift it again.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is it made from?
A dense felt surface with the pattern embossed into it, over a non slip backing. Because it is not coir, there are no loose fibers to sweep up.
Which designs are available?
Charcoal Fan is close to black with a radiating fan. Bronze Medallion is the ornate one in warm brown. Natural Sunburst is pale tan with rays from the straight edge, and Two Tone Fan sets a tan fan on a dark ground.
Will my door clear it?
Yes. The profile is low and the backing grips the floor, so an inward opening door swings over it without catching.
Where should I place it?
Under a porch, on a covered step or just inside the door, with the straight edge against the threshold. Kept out of direct rain, the felt stays crisp and dry.
How do I clean it?
Shake it out and vacuum on a low setting. A soft brush over the relief lifts the pattern back up and keeps the surface looking fresh.
