Folded like a paper fan and lit from within, the Foldable Pleated USB Table Lamp is a small piece of everyday art. The pleated fabric shade opens into a crisp, sculptural form that throws a soft, striped glow across the wall. Lumen & Loam picked it for bedsides and desks that need a little atmosphere without taking up much space.
The shade is fabric, so it diffuses light gently, and its foldable, DIY design means it packs flat and opens in seconds. A 5W light source runs on low-voltage USB power, with a simple button switch on the lamp. Choose warm light only, or the three-color version that adds cool and natural white for reading or working. Because it draws so little power, it is ideal as an evening night light.
Pick red for a bold, playful accent or white for a softer, more minimalist look. Keep the fabric dry and dust it lightly; do not wash. Set it on a nightstand, a study desk or a windowsill, and plug it into a USB port, adapter or power bank. Because it folds flat, it travels well and stores neatly when not in use. An easy, affordable way to add a warm, abstract glow to a bedroom or dorm.
