Holiday Season Doormat

The Holiday Season Doormat is a printed mat for the end of the year, four Christmas designs and one for autumn. It runs from a single door mat up to something closer to a hall rug, so you can dress just the threshold or the whole hallway. Lumen & Loam stocks it for anyone who likes the house to change with the calendar.

The printed short pile sits on a non slip backing, with a low profile so a door clears it. It is for indoor use or a porch that stays dry, and it goes through the machine on a cool cycle. Winter Village is a full snow scene with a red barn and trees. Buffalo Check Gnome sets a gnome on red and black check. Merry Christmas Pine is the plainest, a greeting over pine branches on cream. Pink Gnome takes the same idea in soft pink, and Autumn Pumpkin is the one for October.

Choose 40 x 60cm (16 x 24in), 50 x 80cm (20 x 31in), 60 x 90cm (24 x 35in) or 80 x 120cm (31 x 47in). Place it just inside a front door or under a porch; the largest size reads as a hall rug rather than a doormat. Shake it out and vacuum, cool machine wash and dry flat. Roll it for storage when the season ends.
