Raffia Woven Hanging Mirror

A halo of hand-woven raffia around a round glass gives the Raffia Woven Hanging Mirror its easy, sun-bleached charm. The mirror is glass, framed by a woven collar of raffia grass and hung from a natural hemp rope, so the piece is light enough for a single hook or nail. Raffia is a natural fiber and its strands sit a little loose and tousled by design; that slightly wild texture is part of the look, not a flaw, and it softens as the piece settles on the wall. The overall size is about 32.5 cm, with a small variation of 2 to 3 cm possible because each mirror is measured by hand.

Hang it at eye level in a hallway, above a bedside table or as part of a wall of woven baskets and hats. Dust the raffia gently with a soft brush and wipe the glass with a dry cloth. Keep it away from damp bathrooms and direct sun to preserve the natural color. Sold as a single mirror.
