Description

A wedge of wood that fits the corner most shelving ignores. The rustic brown finish shows grain and a little variation, so it reads as reclaimed timber rather than flat-packed board, and the floating mount keeps the wall underneath clear. Lumen & Loam recommends it for small rooms, where corners are often the only unused vertical space left to work with.

The shelf is wood, cut as a triangular corner unit and wall-mounted so no visible brackets interrupt the line. The flat top gives a stable surface for plants, jars, toiletries or a small speaker, and the corner geometry means it projects less into the room than a straight shelf of the same depth. Fix it into solid wall or into studs using fixings appropriate for the weight you plan to put on it.

It is offered in brown, in a single size, shipped for the United States. Dust with a dry cloth and wipe with a barely damp one, and avoid standing water on a timber surface. Mount it in a bathroom corner for soap and bottles, in a kitchen corner for spice jars, or above a desk for a trailing plant. Two or three at staggered heights turn a dead corner into a display.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it attach to the wall?

It is a floating mount that fixes into a solid wall or studs, so no brackets show. Use fixings suited to your wall type and the weight you plan to display.

What can it hold?

The flat top is a stable surface for plants, jars, toiletries or a small speaker. Keep heavier pieces close to the wall for the best support.

What does the finish look like?

A rustic brown finish that shows grain and a little natural variation, so it reads as reclaimed timber rather than flat board.

Where does it work best?

Bathroom corners for soap and bottles, kitchen corners for spices, or above a desk for a trailing plant. Small rooms benefit most.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a dry cloth and wipe with a barely damp one. Avoid standing water on the timber and it stays handsome for years.
