Description
An area rug printed with a timber floor, board by board, from pale driftwood through to charred black. It lays the look of a plank floor over whatever is underneath, which is the point in a rented room or over tile you would rather not look at. The effect is warm and architectural at once, and it is one of the most useful cover ups in the Lumen & Loam floor range.
Printed short pile over a non slip backing, soft and warm underfoot, unlike the floor it imitates. Sixteen finishes are offered. The pale end runs Driftwood Grey, Sea Grey, Weathered Ash and Golden Pine. Mid tones include Honey Oak, Knotted Oak, Sawn Timber, Warm Chestnut and Cognac Oak. Going dark: Aged Oak, Dark Walnut, Chocolate Board and Charred Black. Red Mahogany carries real color, while Reclaimed Mix and Patchwork Pine mix board tones rather than matching them.
Four sizes. 40 x 60cm and 50 x 80cm are doorway and bedside pieces, while 100 x 150cm and 120 x 160cm are full room rugs. Indoor use only. Vacuum on a low setting and blot spills rather than rubbing at the print. Lay it where you want the floor to change character: a living room, a bedroom, a study, or a hallway that needs grounding.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which finishes are available?
Sixteen, from pale Driftwood Grey, Sea Grey, Weathered Ash and Golden Pine through Honey Oak, Knotted Oak, Sawn Timber, Warm Chestnut and Cognac Oak to Aged Oak, Dark Walnut, Chocolate Board, Charred Black and Red Mahogany, plus Reclaimed Mix and Patchwork Pine.
What sizes can I get?
40 x 60cm and 50 x 80cm for a doorway or bedside, and 100 x 150cm or 120 x 160cm as full room rugs for a living room, bedroom or study. See our Rug Size Guide for room-by-room advice.
What does it feel like underfoot?
Soft and warm. It is a printed short pile, so you get the look of boards with none of the cold or hardness of the real thing.
Will it move around on the floor?
No. The non slip backing keeps it steady on wood, tile and laminate, so the boards stay lined up where you laid them.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum on a low setting and blot spills rather than rubbing at the print. With that small routine the timber look stays sharp for years.
