Unfinished Turned Candlestick

A plain turned candlestick in unfinished wood, sold singly in three heights. The grain is bare, so it takes paint, stain or wax straight away, or you can leave it raw and let it darken with age.

Three heights grouped together read better than one on its own. A pair either side of a mantel works, and the tall one holds its own in the middle of a table.

Where to put it

A dining table, a mantel, a hall console or a windowsill. Keep it clear of curtains and anything that catches, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

A note on the wood

Unfinished wood varies. Grain, tone and the odd small knot differ from piece to piece, which is what makes these look like real wood rather than a moulding.
