The Wabi Sabi Paper Lantern Table Lamp glows like a paper lantern at dusk. Its white rice paper shade turns a single bulb into a soft, even wash of light with none of the harshness of exposed glass, and the imperfect, handmade feel is exactly what wabi-sabi is about. The shade is made from rice paper in white, stretched over a simple frame that leaves the light source hidden. It takes an E14 bulb and plugs straight into the wall, with a wide 90V to 260V input, so no installation is required. The Teardrop is a taller lantern shape at 33.5 x 22 cm; the Round Globe is a compact 24 x 24 cm. Either one lights an area of roughly one to three square meters.
Choose the Round Globe or Teardrop shape; it comes with a US plug. One lamp is included; fit a low-heat LED bulb to protect the paper and keep the shade away from moisture and open flames. Dust gently with a soft brush and never wipe with water. Perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, dining tables, and desks that want a calmer light.
