Wave Textured Ceramic Vase

White ceramic with a raised wave running around the body: the texture does the decorating here, catching light on the ridges and holding shadow in the troughs, so the vase looks sculptural even with nothing in it. The glaze is quiet and matte-leaning, which is why Lumen & Loam keeps it on the minimalist side of the range. It sits happily on a shelf of books, a mantel or a dining table without competing with anything.

Each piece is formed in ceramic and fired, so the wall is rigid, the base is weighted enough to stand up to a tall stem, and the interior is sealed for water. Use it with fresh flowers, with dried grasses and pampas, or empty as a standalone object. The relief pattern hides dust and fingerprints better than a high-gloss finish, and the neutral white lets the color of whatever you put in it carry the arrangement.

Three shapes are available, A, B and C, so you can take one or group them at different heights for a fuller tabletop. Rinse the inside with warm water between arrangements and wipe the outside with a soft damp cloth; skip the dishwasher and abrasive pads, which dull the glaze. Ceramic chips if knocked, so give it a stable surface: a console, a bedside table, a bathroom counter or the middle of a dining table.
