Wood Effect Kitchen Mat

The Wood Effect Kitchen Mat reads as a timber floor laid over the floor you already have, from close-boarded planks to cut log ends. It is soft underfoot and it wipes clean, which is the trick: the look of wood in a place where real wood would warp. Lumen & Loam stocks it for kitchens, hallways and anywhere you stand for a while.

The printed surface is wipeable and the mat is cushioned for standing, with a non slip backing that keeps it in place. It is made for indoor use. Seven designs cover the range: Pale Parquet and Dark Parquet are laid in blocks; Amber Plank, Honey Pine and Ebony Plank run long boards the length of the mat, from golden through to almost black; Timber Ends and Birch Ends are the unusual ones, a bed of cut log cross sections.

Four sizes, including two runners. The 40 x 60cm (16 x 24in) is a single standing spot; the 50 x 80cm (20 x 31in) covers a doorway. The 40 x 120cm (16 x 47in) and 60 x 180cm (24 x 71in) runners suit a galley kitchen or a hallway, and the longest reads as a hall runner. Wipe with a damp cloth and vacuum on a low setting.
