Description
Wooden beads strung around a round mirror, hand worked so the beads sit slightly unevenly and the whole piece looks made rather than manufactured. Natural timber against glass is a warm combination, and at this scale it hangs as easily in a hallway as above a dresser. Lumen & Loam counts it as a decorative mirror first: small enough to use as a cosmetic mirror, interesting enough to hang where nobody needs to check their hair.
The frame is built from wooden beads on a woven ground, with the mirror set at the center and a fitting at the back for hanging from a single hook. The beads carry the boho character, and the timber tone shifts a little between pieces because wood does. Note that screen color can differ slightly from the item in hand, and because measurement is done by hand a centimeter or two of variance is normal.
Three designs are available across a couple of sizes, so you can hang one on its own or mix two for an asymmetric pair. Dust the beads with a dry soft brush and clean the glass with cleaner on a cloth, not sprayed directly, so nothing seeps in behind the beads. Hang it in a bedroom, a hallway, an entry beside the door, or a living room where a round shape softens a wall full of rectangles.

Made, Not Manufactured
The beads sit slightly unevenly because they were strung by hand, and that is the whole charm. Natural timber against glass gives a wall warmth that a plain frame never will.
Softens A Wall Of Rectangles
A round shape breaks up frames, doors and shelving, so the mirror reads as a piece of art before it reads as a mirror. Lumen & Loam hangs it in hallways, bedrooms and entries beside the door.
Mix Or Match
Three designs across two sizes let you hang one on its own or pair two for an asymmetric grouping. The timber tone shifts a little between pieces, which keeps a pair from looking too matched.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the mirror mounted?
There is a fitting on the back that hangs from a single hook or nail, so it goes up in a minute. The piece is light enough that no special wall anchor is needed on a sound surface.
Can I use it as a proper mirror?
Yes. The glass at the center is a real mirror, sized well for a quick check of hair or makeup above a dresser or by the door, while the beaded surround does the decorating.
Which sizes and designs are available?
Three bead designs come in two sizes each. Take the larger one as a single statement piece, or combine a small and a large for a relaxed pair on one wall. See our Mirror Size Guide for sizing and hanging height.
Why does my mirror look slightly different from the photo?
Each one is hand worked, so bead spacing and timber tone vary a little, and screen color can shift too. That variation is what makes it look made rather than mass produced.
How do I clean the beads and the glass?
Dust the beads with a dry soft brush and clean the glass with cleaner applied to a cloth, not sprayed on, so nothing seeps behind the beads. That keeps both the wood and the woven ground looking fresh.
